The Story

This shirt was released in 2025 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the German Football Association (DFB), paying tribute to one of the world’s most storied football cultures. With a minimalist design in soft blue and black trim, it breaks from traditional home kits — honoring heritage with quiet elegance.

At Stitched FC, we saw this rare edition as the perfect canvas for a floral reinterpretation. A shirt that marks history, now reimagined to celebrate natural beauty and national pride.

Design Direction

The embroidery features a carefully selected mix of flowers native to Germany — including edelweiss, cornflower, forget-me-nots, and alpine daisies. Each one is placed to reflect balance, color harmony, and quiet symbolism. Stitched across the chest and shoulders, these elements transform the minimalist design into a botanical tribute to the land, its landscapes, and its legacy.
