Excess in Football Culture
Each season, football teams release two, three, sometimes even more kits — home, away, third, pre-match. Fans are flooded with options, upgrades, and different editions. We get it, it’s part of the game now…
But many of these shirts are worn only a handful of times —or not at all— before they’re forgotten at the back of a closet or thrown away entirely. The cycle repeats: new season, new shirt, new purchase.
At Stitched FC, we believe in slowing that cycle down. We repurpose jerseys to tell a story — pieces that carry meaning and are designed to last as long as your love for the game. We bring forgotten shirts back to life, carefully curating and reimagining them through embroidery inspired by nature, culture, and place. What would’ve been just another discarded jersey becomes something truly one of a kind: a collector’s piece.
Our Process
Each shirt we work with is handpicked: not for perfection, but for potential. We source vintage football jerseys that might otherwise be discarded or forgotten —even those with visible wear— repurpose and reimagine them through carefully curated embroidery drawn from heritage, symbolism, and artistic direction.
Every piece is stitched individually, with a story behind every thread. We don’t design just to decorate — we design to transform, elevate, and preserve.
